Ask the community
Tap into the collective experience of the chapter. Post a question, get a sanity check from people who've been there, and help others when you can.
Membership of itSMF New Zealand connects you to a vendor-neutral community of practitioners - an active online forum, regular round-table discussions, and the global itSMF network.
Being a member is about people and practice, not perks. Here's what you become part of when you join.
Members-only access to our Discourse forum - ask, share and learn alongside your peers.
Monthly online conversations, plus a presentation-led session every second month.
The reach and resources of itSMF International, on top of everything the NZ chapter does.
A members-only space to ask questions, compare notes and keep up with the profession. Every category is governed by a shared, plain-spoken Code of Conduct - generous, curious and vendor-neutral. These are the conversations you'll join:
Tap into the collective experience of the chapter. Post a question, get a sanity check from people who've been there, and help others when you can.
The chapter's lounge - industry news, hot takes, career chat, introductions, and general kōrero with fellow members.
Get into the craft. How-tos, worked examples and thematic threads across ITIL, SIAM, VeriSM, IT4IT, DevOps, Lean and whatever comes next.
Talk shop about the technology behind service management. Advice, lessons learned and honest comparisons - no flame wars, no sales pitches.
Direct-hire roles in Aotearoa, people looking for work, and members offering or seeking a mentor.
Webinars, meet-ups and speaker follow-ups. See what's coming up, and keep the conversation going after a session.
The chapter's shared shelf - meeting minutes, slides and recordings, templates, and NZ-relevant standards and reading.
Every month we gather online for a round a table discussion - an informal, practitioner-led conversation where members swap what's actually working, talk through knotty problems, and learn from each other. Come with a question or a war story.
Every second month, one of those sessions is presentation-driven - a member or guest opens with a short talk on a topic the community cares about, and we discuss it together. Topics are shaped by members, so the agenda stays close to the work.
itSMF New Zealand is the national chapter of itSMF International - the longest-standing, independent and globally recognised community for IT Service Management. Your local membership plugs you into that wider network.
That means access to a global body of knowledge and practice, connections with chapters and practitioners around the world - all while staying grounded in the Aotearoa community on your doorstep.
Leave your name and email and we'll be in touch with how to become a member. No obligation - just the first step to finding your people.
